Bucketload of Worship!

We rocked buckets today at lifepoint. 5 gallon paint buckets that is, orange of course. What’s even more amazing is that we did it in the christmas song, “O Come Let Us Adore Him.”

People might be asking, How could you call beating a bucket with drumsticks worship? And I say “How can you not?” God says everything we do, we do unto him. Everything, every part, every action, every thought is an act of worship! The question is what are we worshipping?

I think today our church experienced a true moment of worship that doesn’t contain words, or melodies….just a loud clacking rythmic pulse that in a very powerful way said, “We are here to adore you, we are here to glorify our savior…We are flat out going for it, making the loudest, most joyful noise we can muster that’s all for you!!!!!

The question is what are you pouring your worship into. If we are not careful, it can be a relationship, a job, even ourselves.

Do yourself a favor this week and do something totally off the wall for God, and his greatness alone.

I’ve got some buckets if you need to borrow one………………………

Sometimes a genuine Spirit led leader has a vision that could be difficult for everyone else to see. Buckets! Who’da thunk it! I came off the floor with utter joy! Thanks for equiping Lifepoint to worship in a totally unique way! Thank you God for our worship team!
